Mwashighadi is a multimedia artist, born in Kenya and currently living and working in Kingston, Jamaica. A winner of the Commonwealth Art & Craft Award in 1996/7, he has had solo and group exhibitions in Africa, Europe and the Caribbean. This powerful work is a commentary on the civil rights protest marches in the U.S.
