Medard Bizimana is one of Rwanda’s most prominent artists, with a career spanning more than three decades. Bizimana is predominantly a sculptor, working in wood, metal and stone to create sculptures that depict certain mental and emotional states. Bizimana has exhibited his work within Rwanda as well as internationally in Gabon, Nepal, and China.
